While attending the University of Alabama, I taught myself the Adobe Creative Suite. I spent countless hours in the office of The Crimson White, the university’s student newspaper, working through tutorials and entering design contests online to refine my craft. When opportunities arose to design magazine covers and specialized advertisements, I was always eager to contribute ideas.
Seeing those designs come to life in print was the moment my career as a designer truly began. Shortly after my work with the student newspaper, I started freelancing as a student designer and eventually worked with the university’s renowned athletic department.
