As a student at the University of Alabama, I was self taught in all of the Adobe programs. I would spend hours at the student newspaper office (The Crimson White) doing tutorials and entering design contests online. When an opportunity for magazine covers and specialized ads would arise, I would have plenty of ideas for designs. Eventually those creations came to life and were printed for the student-run newspaper.  This is the time when my career as a designer began, soon after the student newspaper, I was working as a student freelancer and at the university’s prestigious athletic department.
