During my tenure at Energizer, I had the opportunity to work as a Packaging Design Specialist, primarily supporting the company’s Lights division. In this role, I developed packaging designs for a variety of products, including headlamps, lanterns, and flashlights; with a particular focus on the EMEA market (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa).
Designing for such a diverse markets like Germany, Spain, South Africa, Egypt, Poland, Greece, the Netherlands, France, the United Kingdom, Italy, and several others, required a high level of precision and adaptability. I regularly created packaging in both English and French while ensuring that regulatory and product information was accurately translated across numerous additional languages, including Dutch, Russian, Portuguese, Turkish, Spanish, Hungarian, Polish, Slovak, Czech, Arabic, Italian, and German.
My work involved close collaboration with a global team spanning Singapore to the United Kingdom, as well as coordination with printing partners in China to ensure packaging files met production standards. My colleagues in the United Kingdom were especially helpful in providing templates and guidance that streamlined several projects. Despite managing a high volume of deliverables, I consistently met project deadlines and ensured all files sent to printers were precise, compliant, and error-free.
My time at Energizer strengthened my understanding of international marketing, multilingual packaging systems, and global production workflows. Some of my favorite packaging designs from this work are shown below.
